The peace and quiet that Frasier enjoyed from living alone has been shattered. His father Martin has moved in bringing his dog Eddie and his grubby old chair with him. They have also employed a live-in physical therapist, Daphne Moon. Frasier's attempts at finding a quiet space to himself are now repeatedly disprupted, even when he looks beyond the boundaries of his apartment. As a result, he mulls over the possibility of finding Martin and Daphne their own place.
