Joffrey and Margaery are wedded; Tyrion sends Shae away fro King's Landing; Jaime gets a sword instructor; Bran gets a vision from a Godswood tree; Ramsay is sent to the north in order to find the remaining Stark boys.

Plot Summary

In the north, Ramsay then presents Theon to his father Toose Bolton, who is disgusted by what he sees. Bolton is furious that Ramsay had removed Theon's penis and therefore removed him as a option to use him as a hostage to remove the Ironborn army out of the north. Ramsay has Theon mention that there are two Stark boys moving towards the wall to meet up with Jon Snow. Fearing that the north will side with a Stark heir, Roose orders Ramsay and Theon to go to the north to finish off the remaining Stark family members. In Dragonstone, Stannis and Melisandre burn Stannis' brother and two other people who refuse to convert to the Lord of Light. After the ceremony, Davos questions Stannis on his decision, but hides his true feelings when the queen and Red Priestess is around. At dinner, Selyse Baratheon, his wife, asks Melisandre to talk to her daughter, Shireen Baratheon. Melisandre agrees and visits Shireen at night. In the far north, Bran is spending a great deal of time possessing his wolf. Jagen scolds him for ignoring his real body and warns that if he spends too much time in an animal, he will forget his true self. They then pass by a Godswood tree. Bran touches the tree and gets a vision of a man surrounded by raven and the instructions to go north. Bran then says that he knows where to go.

At King's Landing, Tyrion hires Bronn to teach Jaime how to use a sword using his left hand. Taking Jaime to a discrete location, Bronn practices with Jaime in secret. In the garden, Tyrion learns from Varys that Cersei's hand maiden has told Cersei about Tyrion's affair with Shae. Seeing no other option, Tyrion breaks up with Shae and sends her away on a boat. Once the wedding commences Joffrey marries Margaery Tyrell at the altar. Then in the feast, Joffrey calls for a play depicting the War of the Five Kings. After the play, Joffrey humiliates Tyrion by making him his cup bearer. Joffrey belittles Tyrion by having his uncle serve him wine. Tensions rise when Joffrey orders Tyrion to kneel. However, Tyrion refuses to do so. The tension is then broken by the arrival of the dessert. Joffrey orders Tyrion to give him wine again just as Tyrion and Sansa are leaving. Tyrion does as he is told and gives Joffrey a cup of wine. Joffrey drinks it and dies from the poison in the cup. As Joffrey dies, he points to Tyrion. Cersei sees this and puts Tyrion under arrest for the murder of Joffrey.
