I'm reformating the Dinosaurs (1991) TV Page and was adding in the episode lists when I ran into the fact that this series has a bunch of "lost" episodes; stuff that was filmed but never actually broadcast during its original run. Usually for unaired pilots, we stick at the beginning of Season 1 with that "1.00" and stuff. But what do we do with the "lost" episodes? Create some sort of special season for them? Or just attach them to the last season or what? Suggestions?
What's on your mind?

I'm searching for a way to embed blogs/reviews on the Wikia pages. So far, I haven't had any luck. I'm sorry I'm behind. I know SnowyMountain is waiting on me for the character dialogue box (which I remember some failed attempts. Have to locate the page).
I don't the Amboxes we have aren't good because whatever we wrote on them cannot be change or adjusted. It's predetermined. I'm thinking of making an infobox where you can fill out and it posts a link to your review. Not sure how aesthetically pleasing it is.

I'll ask for help if I can't find anything else on the web.
Just Updated
I've been polishing up some of the blank movie pages that we've got and I know that we have some movies that do have alternate names, usually when released internationally or specific to some countries.
I know that we have an "Aliases" for our TV series info boxes, should we include one for our movies as well? Or should we just stick it under the Overview Section on the main page?
Hey everyone, I was getting tips on how to change color from a friend in AV. Turns out I never change the colors of the templates we borrowed from other Wikias. I'm sorry for not doing that for the past Wikias I been to. I'm really bad with aesthetics since I'm more about functionality. Using the tab colors my friend suggested, I was playing with the colors to use the same code for the movie box and made it black for the AV Wika.
- To Hollywood and Beyond's Movie - Needs color change to match the Wikia's scheme
- Anime Vice's Movie - Changed. Needs more tweaking b/c it's all black.
What colors do you want me to change it to? I saw our tab colors were lightblue.
http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Help:Color
This link gives you the colors. I think ours is Light Cyan #E0FFFF for the header image and for border it's White #FFFFFF. I wanted to check you guys first.
There is the shadow color, too. That threw me off a bit. I have to differentiate between shadow and border colors. I accidentally made the AV's border and shadow the same color, I believe.
In film, as well as real life, there are aesexual, hermaphodite, transgender, and others. So, what would be the best way to define these in the gender section of the infobox?
I was looking at the Animation Genre Page and I think it could use some reworking.
The additional subcategories of Superheroes TV and Video Game TV at the top seems confusing to me. It's true that several of these selections in those genres are cartoons but not all of them are either so it feels "off" to be calling them a subcategory of the animation genre. I do think that we should keep the Anime subcategory and the Animated Film link though, those do fit in the basic theme of the page.
I was also thinking that it seems a bit redundant for us to be labeling the various anime cartoons as "Animated TV" yet have a separate category page for them as well as a subcategory link. If we're going to be doing that, perhaps we should go all the way and simply have those anime cartoons simply labelled soley as "Anime" and remove the "Animated TV" genre link entirely?
I noticed that one of the video links doesn't work. Apparently YouTube took it off their site or something. It's on the Inhumanoids tv page.
I dunno if you want to delete it or replace it, but thought the editors should be aware of it.
I was trying to add a photograph to the episode list on Babylon 5 but I was having some trouble and then I seem to have screwed up something and have somehow replaced the File:Filename.jpg with my uploaded photo and now it appears to have effectively uploaded as images for various episode lists in dozens of places like Robin of Sherwood (1984), V (2009), etc. etc. Hell, I think I may have quite literally screwed up hundreds if not thousands of entries. I have checked some of the other episode lists like Xena: Warrior Princess and I think as long as they didn't already have some sort of photo already in place; my massive screw up hasn't replaced them. I hope.
I took a look at the File History of the File:Filename.jpg and I can't seem to find any sort of undo option and I don't know how I did it in the first place. So I'm a bit leery of trying to do anything else and screwing it up even worse than I did before.
Is there anyway to fix this or is it something I can do or the editors can do?
While I was going through the wiki, I've noticed that some of the pages have fan art as the main poster or a screenshot instead of a poster. If you guys need a site to find posters, impawards.com is very useful website for posters. FinalDasa, Stacey and I have been useful this site for about a year and it's handy when we're trying to get the latest posters for the weekly poster article.
Please post requests for page deletion or page renaming here.
Deletion Requests
Please provide links to the page you want kept and to the page(s) you are asking to be deleted. Please also state the reason why.
(Example)
Keep: Big Trouble in Little China (1986)
Delete: big trouble in Little China (1984)
Reason: Please delete the duplicate page that also shows the wrong year.
Renaming Requests
Please provide a link to the page that needs renaming, what it needs to be renamed to and why.
(Example)
Page: Big Tribble in Little China (1986)
Reason: Title is wrong. Should be renamed to "Big Trouble in Little China (1986)"
I'm currently working through episodes of Xena and something occured to me.
I have just created a page for the episode "Prometheus". Assuming we ever get around to putting the movie Prometheus into the wiki, I would think it would be difficult given that a page of the same name already existed. The only workaround I can think of is if we prefix the name of a TV Episode page with its episode number. I strongly recommend that we use the following numbering system. Prometheus is episode 8 of season 1, so the final page name would be "1.8 Prometheus". This dramatically reduces the chances of page name duplication, not just with movies but with other TV Shows. It also tells people at a glance which season and episode number they are looking at.
What do you think?
@Acura Max @Takashichea
I made some minor corrections and alterations to the two episodes that are currently up. Episodes 4.7 Dead Weight and 4.8 Too Far Gone. You'll notice I've changed the naming format of the page to include season number and episode number as a prefix. I also noticed a discrepancy with the attached images for these episodes.
Episode 4.7 has the following image attached "The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 7.jpg" and
Episode 4.8 has the following image attached "The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 8.jpg"
Now either they are the wrong images or they are the correct images but named incorrectly. I have never watched Walking Dead so I have no idea if the images are correct or not but I thought it worth mentioning in case they are wrong.
To use an example: Do we want an overall Sci-Fi genre category that lists both TV shows and films for that genre. Or do we want separate categories of "Sci-Fi TV Shows" and "Sci-Fi Films". Or both?
I use Sci-Fi as an example to clarify the question but this would obivously apply to all genres.
I'm also going to add links to sub categories for the main "Films" and "TV Shows" pages. For example, I would add a "1977 Movies" link as a sub-category link to the "Films" page.
One other thing. I have noticed we have both a "Sci-Fi" and "Science Fiction" category page. We need to decide on which one we are going to use or we will end up fragmenting content between these duplicate categories.
I've noticed that the "Movies" and "TV Shows" links in the "Wiki Content" bar at the top are not connecting to the correct pages.
"Movies" is currently connecting to: http://to-hollywood-and-beyond.wikia.com/wiki/Movies
It should connect to http://to-hollywood-and-beyond.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Films
"TV Shows" is currently connected to http://to-hollywood-and-beyond.wikia.com/wiki/TV_Shows
It should connect to http://to-hollywood-and-beyond.wikia.com/wiki/Category:TV_Shows
I would do this myself but I don't know how and probably don't have the permissions to do it anyway.
I did add a basic informational line to both category pages to tidy them up and to stop them saying the splurge about "This page is empty create content now.." etc. though.
I've been trying to add some stuff in Star Wars IV page in the Plot and other sections and the thing is locking up, saying it's "Loading the VisualEditor" or just simply has a floating status bar. I've only been able to fiddle with the "Critical Reception" section that I've previously worked on.
Is it just me or what?
Oh, and I think we need to have a Forum Thread specifically for these sorts of Problems too.
Templates
I struggled to find the episode list template. I finally discovered it by digging through Takashichea's edit history. Maybe we should link to them all in a post on this forum or something, so they can be easy to find for other users?
Episode Lists
I noticed you were using the following format for a page title for an episode list, "List of Star Trek Episodes", "List of Walking Dead Episodes", etc. Maybe it would look better as "Star Trek - Episode Guide". It would prevent us having a sea of episode pages beginning with "L" and it's a snappier, shorter way of saying the same thing.
Having said that, is there some reason why we want to have the Episode List on its own page instead of incorporated into the body of a TV Show's Overview page?
