Identity Disc

Identity Discs are the most distinctive weapon in the TRON Franchise.

Overview[]

Identity Discs (sometimes referred to as Light Discs) are a key component of every Program.  It appears a solid metal disc or ring with glowing concentric circuitry rings.  When active or in use, these conentric rings glow brighter.  The Identity Discs are typically worn on the upper back of each Program and store everything about their Program, including everything that they witness. They are also the Program's primary weapon.
