Plot[]
The Impossible Missions Force (IMF) led by Jim Phelps is sent in to prevent the theft of a vital document; the NOC List which containing the true names and identities of the United States' undercover operatives. However, the IMF is ambushed, Phelps is assassinated, and the lone survivor Ethan Hunt finds himself accused of treason and blamed for the deaths of his entire team.
Now, Ethan finds himself with a new impossible mission. To prove his innocence. To avenge his team and mentor. And to stop the NOC List from falling into the wrong hands.
It's a good thing that Ethan specializes in making the impossible possible.
