Overview

Before he crusaded for the Holy Grail. Before he defied the cult of Kali in the Temple of Doom. And even before he raided the Ark of the Covenant ... Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr. had already led a lifetime of adventure, excitement, and romance across the world.

These are the chronicles of the world famous, globe trotting, whip wielding archaeologist and how he came to be ... as a boy growing up to a man ... who would become a legend.

The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles was a short-lived Emmy Award winning action-adventure American TV series that was adapted from the characters based and created from the Indiana Jones Film Franchise created by George Lucas.

During the filming of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade; a brief scene hints about his childhood resulting in Lucas developing the idea of an ongoing TV series revolving around Indiana's adventures while growing up. Despite winning several awards, the series was less than popular with audiences and was ultimately cancelled. Nevertheless, four made-for-TV movies based on the series were created. This series and the TV films have undergone extensive re-editing and has been repackaged and re-released as The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones in a more chronological format as well.
